Kristy and Adam: Hawthorne Hotel Wedding
Holy crap I have not posted since August 9th. That is craziness. I'm so sorry I've been such a blog slacker this summer. I promise it's not because I haven't been working... quite the opposite, in fact! I really overloaded myself with second shooting gigs this summer and between those and my weddings I've been gone pretty much every weekend. I have managed to sneak in some fun weekends with friends too, but I'd be lying if I said the fact that I haven't blogged in so long is because I've been in sort of a rut. I LOVE WEDDINGS. I love all my couples who trust me to shoot their weddings and who I get to laugh with and have fun with on such a special day. The rut isn't about them. It's about me constantly worrying about EVERYTHING in life. What can I say, I'm a worrier. I need to take the advice of the previous post and just let things happen. But lately I have been feeling like I'm not at my prime in this whole photography thing, and it's so scary. I've been thinking about going back to school more and more, but that's a different topic for a different time...
Let's move on to Kristy and Adam, shall we? Kristy booked me it seems like forever ago, and she was my first of two Stoughton weddings last weekend! Neither wedding was actually in Stoughton, but both brides from last weekend went to Stoughton High with a few of my friends and that's how they found me. Kristy and Adam have been living in New York, and since he was deployed when she booked me, I didn't get to meet Adam until wedding day. I fell in love with him immediately, as I did with Kristy. They are both two of the most genuine, happy, in love people I have ever met. They are down to earth and sweet, and genuinely just want others to have a good time. They are raising a beautiful daughter, Victoria, together, and it was truly special to see what great parents they are. I was so excited to be a part of their big day!

Love this photo of Kristy putting Victoria's dress on...
And then it was Mama's turn!
Proof that I am hilarious, please see photo on the right side, please and thank you...
One last kiss before getting married!
The ceremony actually got moved indoors because of a quick hurricane outside... NO BIG DEAL. The lightning was CRAZY... fortunately it did clear up rather quickly (gotta love New England) but not quick enough for the ceremony... so they got married in the ballroom!
Outside for some portraits...
Party time!
Something I said? ;-)
The end! :)
