Trash the Dress with Caitlin
So last night I did another trash the dress session with Jessica Kaczenski, and it was a blast as usual! I don't know what it is, but Jess seems to have all these friends who are just natural models. Like seriously, you would tell Caitlin to be serious, and she would transform into Kate Moss. She was awesome to work with! We went to Chapel Falls in Ashfield, and luckily the rain held out long enough for us to put on our low light lenses and take some shots :) Caitlin was a trouper, hiking onto wet, slippery rocks in 3 inch stilettos, and basically making me look like a moron when I wiped out on a rock wearing my flip-flops. Okay, so it was me that made me look like a moron. Cause that's just how I roll.
I'm always experimenting with PhotoShop, and after I run an action I sit there for about 10 minutes trying to decide if I like the effect or not. I just couldn't decide on this next one. Feedback is welcome! :)
It was so dark in the woods and we wanted to get Caitlin out in some light, so we drove back through Ashfield and Williamsburg and stopped at a farm that Caitlin knew the owners of. They were so nice and got a kick out of sitting on their porch and watching us shoot. Hopefully they like what they see- they had beautiful land!
I'll end with one of my favorites of the day...
Caitlin, thank you for being so awesome! We know you were feeling a little under the weather and you were still willing to climb into freezing cold waters and get eaten alive by bugs. Somehow you managed to look beautiful through it all and I hope you like the shots we got!
