The Beluzo Family: Take One

I met Christine back in 2001, when we were both waiting tables at the old Ground Round. It's amazing to think that it was that long ago that we served greasy food, gossiped about co-workers, went for drinks at Tilly's after work (R.I.P.) and tried to hit the beach whenever we both had a free Sunday. If anyone has ever seen the movie Waiting, working in a restaurant is EXACTLY how that movie depicts it to be, and I am pretty sure I would have ended up like that crazy character Naomi (whose name is Alanna in real life- fun fact) if it hadn't been for my friendship with Christine. We stayed friends even when I went off to college, I was their to watch her marry her best friend Kyle, and I held her son Tyler when he was just a few hours old. She is an amazing person and I am grateful that we have managed to remain friends. Lately, we've both been so busy and have managed to grab a drink every few weeks and catch up, but now it looks like she won't be drinking for another 9 months, as she just found she's pregnant again! I am so excited for her and Kyle, and I know Tyler will be an excellent big brother. We were supposed to do these pictures awhile ago, but the weather was always horrible and we kept postponing and cancelling. We finally did the shoot Monday night- only to have Tyler have a meltdown... the joys of having a toddler :) We were only able to take a few pictures, so we are going to be having a Take 2 later on in the summer, but it was still great to be able to hang out with the Beluzo fam for a little while.
