I've been waiting to share this on my blog for so long! Back in the winter time, I started thinking about my impending move to Vermont, and what the best way was to get to know Vermont wedding vendors. I had been emailing with a few photographers, but I wanted to get my name out and start to build a network up there, of florists and hairstylists and caterers that I could trust, that I could refer work to, and who I could work with so they could feel comfortable referring to me. It's so hard to new the new kid on the block, and I'm trying to make the transition as smooth as possible. I decided to start putting together "stylized shoots".... I wanted to put together full tablescapes to showcase wedding ideas and have a beautiful bride and groom there modeling as well. So I started coming up with ideas, contacting vendors, and working with one of my FABULOUS couples from last year, Christina and Johnny, to put together what my awesome second shooter Melissa Deschamp called a kick-butt tea party in the woods :) I built the shoot around china we already had in my house that I absolutely adore. We used rentals from two different sources, I had so much fun raiding the local South Hero antique shop for props, we got the chargers and some of the candle holders at Pier 1 and Michael's, and the rest was thanks to the wonderful vendors who wanted to be a part of this! I really can't say enough about how fun this shoot was, and I was absolutely thrilled to have it featured in several sources. Click on the links below to see the different blogs it was featured on! It even made it over to Germany... how do ya like that? ;-) International! Haha... anyways, won't post too many photos because you can check them all out on these other posts, but here are some from the amazing... albeit very buggy... day in the woods in South Hero! Thank you everyone who participated, especially my amazing friend Melissa for second shooting and Christina and Johnny for working it for the camera! Happy anniversary you guys!!!
After shooting the table and other props for a little while, our gorgeous models Christina and Johnny showed up!
I'll end with my favorite two!
