Megan and Daryl

The first time I met Megan was when she answered my ad looking for a roommate when I moved to Nashville.  It was the summer of 2007, I was new to the city, and I wanted to live with someone who loved honky tonkin as much as I did.  When she contacted me, I immediately looked her up on MySpace (because MySpace was actually cool back then) and knew we were destined to be friends.  Half of her profile was about Seinfeld.  The first time we met in person, she must have quoted it about 4 times, which is probably only one time less than I quoted it :)  We became good friends the year I lived in Nashville, splitting our time between singing into our bottles at The Stage, hiking our un-athletic butts through Monteagle, and driving to Memphis for the best dry rub ribs in the state.  Okay, I'm going to go so far as to say in the COUNTRY.  Seriously, if you're ever in Memphis, hit up Rendezvous... you won't be sorry. Anyways, 2 years has gone by since I left Nashville and since then, lots has changed, including Megan's marital status!  As single girls,  Megan and I spent many nights in the neon lights on Broadway looking for "the one", both coming up empty-handed.  But since I've been gone, Megan met Daryl, a very charming Southern gentleman who she fell for so hard that her honky tonkin wild days became a thing of the past :)  Daryl proposed on a trip to D.C., and they will be getting married next spring (hopefully in Hawaii :)  Since I was coming down to TN for my cousin's wedding, Megan asked if I would take some engagement pictures for them, and I was happy to oblige!  We headed out to Arrington Vineyards for the afternoon to take these shots... I had never been to Arrington and it was really awesome.  It is owned by Kix Brooks so it was right up my alley :)

A few ring shots...

On our way back into Nashville we made a quick stop at the pedestrian bridge so we could get a couple skyline pictures.  I'll end with my favorite one of those!  Congratulations Megan and Daryl, had so much fun hanging out with you and can't wait to hear all about the wedding as you plan the fun details! :)
