Jenn's Bridal Shower

This past Saturday I had the pleasure of going to my good friend Jenn's bridal shower!  Jenn is an old roommate and friend from college, and I have the honor of being one of my bridesmaids in her upcoming wedding to a great guy named Dave.  You might remember them, as I took their engagement pictures in Plymouth a few months ago.  Anyways, Saturday we had the maid of honor up from Texas, so we had both the bridal shower and the bachelorette in one weekend!  Unfortunately I am not going to post any pictures from the bachelorette :)  But the bridal shower was an amazing time, and it was great to be able to see old friends and also get to know the bridal party a little bit more.  Jenn picked amazing women to stand with her on the day she marries Dave, and I feel lucky to have gotten to know them.  The wedding should be a blast!  Here are some of my favorites from the shower...

The shower was a baking/ cooking theme, and we send each guest a recipe card with their invitation.  This was the amazing recipe tin that the Maid of Honor made to hold the cards in!

Jenn was sooooo surprised when she walked into the room- she thought she was going to her future brother-in-law's birthday lunch!  But she was most excited to see her maid of honor... she definitely got choked up!

One of the flower girls, Amelia, came over to give Dave a hug, and it was so precious!

Opening gifts...

One of the games we played at the shower was a "questions" game.  Basically, the bride has to answer a bunch of questions about the groom, and for every one she gets wrong she has to put a piece of gum in her mouth. Let's just say Jenn's jaw was hurting by the end... but it provided for some great entertainment! :)

Jenn and Dave, I cannot thank you enough for being such good friends.  I love being around you guys and seeing how incredible love can truly be.  It inspires me and gives me hope, and I wish you both nothing but the best in life.  I can't wait for the wedding and hope you guys had an amazing time this weekend!
