Andrea and Brian
Sunday night I headed to Northampton to photograph Andrea and Brian’s engagement. Andrea had booked me completely by e-mail and despite many correspondences, and only living a few miles away from each other, this was my first time meeting them! I will admit, I was tired. My weekend went like this: birthday party Friday night, wedding all day Saturday, shooting my friend’s daughters Sunday morning (which was fun, not work, but still), bridal meeting with a potential client, Sophia’s christening, then a 2 hour drive back to get to Northampton. Let’s just say I wasn’t exactly playing with my A game. So I was a little nervous to meet up with Andrea and Brian, and a little sad that me and my bed hadn’t spent any quality time together in awhile. But as soon as I walked into the Fitz Willy’s bar, where we met, I couldn’t have been in a better mood. These two are like a shot of espresso, without the jitters. Corny analogy? Probably. But would you expect anything less from me? :) So much energy, so sweet, and SO GENUINE. I love when you meet people that remind you of the important things, and Andrea and Brian definitely did that for me. It took them awhile to find each other, but to see them together, you know immediately that it was worth the wait. Which gives me hope, cause I’m pretty sure I’ll be tying the knot when I’m 77 years old. NO BIG DEAL. Anyways, here are my favorites from their session!
When we were trying to figure out where to do their engagement pictures, Andrea told me her and Brian were pretty much obsessed with their neighborhood, and that they'd like to do some around the Smith campus, which they live right near. Who can blame them? I love Northampton, and Smith. I used to want to go there until I found out it was an all-girls college :) Anyways, these were all taken around campus...
Love this one...
I'll end with another favorite. Thanks Andrea and Brian for a great afternoon- can't wait for your October wedding!!
