Amy and Tim
About two years ago, I was sitting in Boston Common, soaking up the sun and people watching, when I noticed ane elderly couple sitting on a bench nearby. They were sitting shoulder to shoulder, each reading a book, each minding their own business, without a care in the world. What I started to notice was that every few minutes, like clockwork, the man would steal a glance at his wife, smile, and go back to his book. The look in his eyes was as clear as can be, and told me and the world that he could not get enough of her, that he was proud to be able to be the man by her side. It made me smile and think about their lives, how they met, and how he could still be looking at the woman next to him as if it was their first date. I'll never know the answers to these questions, of course, but I'm pretty sure that happy old couple started out just like Amy and Tim.
I second shot this wedding for Molly Anne Photography, so I hadn't met Amy and Tim before the big day. I had heard great things about them from Molly, and from the moment we were warmly greeted at Tim's parents house, I knew Molly wasn't exaggerating. We spent the day photographing the happiest, most insanely in love couple you have ever met. And on more occasions than I could count, I saw Tim steal glances at his new wife, glances telling me and the world that he could not get enough of her, and that he was proud to be the man by her side. I know he'll be looking at her that way for the next 50 years, and that's what makes this job so awesome.
I started the day off with the guys, while Molly was off with the girls. Stephanie O'Neill was also along for the ride and helped me out a ton with the guys. Thanks Steph!
I asked the guys to look towards the window and not smile... as you can see, we had some goofy guys on our hands :)
Guys at the church.... I tried the Seventies action on this one and loved it!
The beautiful bride coming down the aisle...
The moment after Amy's dad gave her away to Tim was so amazing. Even I choked up and I had only met them that morning!!!
Ring exchange...
I shot this from the side while Molly did formals...
Later, over at the Tewksbury Country Club...
Amy, you are stunning. That's all I have to say.
Amy and Tim made a HILARIOUS video for their introduction. It was absolutely hysterical, and had everyone on their feet and cheering for when those doors opened. This is a little bit of wedding party reaction to the video... I shot this with my ISO way too high cause it was so dark, and I'm kind of sad about the grain. But I love the pic anyways so I'm posting!
The newlyweds! Do you think Tim was excited? Maybe just a little?

Tim and Amy, I wish you nothing but the best as you start your lives as husband and wife. Thank you so much for welcoming Molly and I and letting us share your special day. Congratulations again!!!
